original Alpha ALP3 Turbo basket plug is suitable for several Caressi sinks. The Alpha ALP3 basket plug acts as a strainer and prevents food residue from entering the sink. By pushing the plug down, you completely close off the drain of the Alpha & JOB sink. This allows you to use the sink for a hand wash and thus acts as a stopper.
Alpha ALP3 basket plug is made of stainless steel and therefore will not rust. The basket is round and matt stainless steel.
The basket plug comes with a steel pin, sealing rubber and plastic ring. There is a black rubber ring around a steel ring with this basket plug.

Features:

The diameter of this plug is 85mm. If you have an ALPHA or JOB sink and the diameter is correct, you will need this plug.
You will receive the new version. Photo 1 shows the old type as an indication to find the right plug.
The plastic ring of the old plug was around a plastic black ring.
The plastic ring had a recessed inside of about 5mm, the rubber ring was around the plastic ring. This rubber ring was not quite flush with the plastic ring but about 2mm deeper. (see photo 3)
The basket plug used to look slightly different, the new type is supplied.

basket plugs look similar, but every brand and type number has different dimensions. Because many customers guess and incur unnecessary costs for us and the customer, basket plugs cannot be returned. Not even if the plug is still in its packaging. Therefore, make sure you order the correct type number. What can you do to be sure which basket plug you need?

Maintaining Alpha ALP3 basket plugThe

Alpha ALP3 sink plug can be cleaned by putting it in the dishwasher to get all the debris off the basket strainer. For stubborn tea stains, you can use a special stainless steel cleaner or non-aggressive cleaners, dish soap and all-purpose cleaner are a great alternative. Use an abrasive sponge (not a pan sponge!) for this purpose. With this you can clean the plug well and get rid of grease and caked-on residue. After this, use a microfiber cloth to polish the basket nicely. If the basket plug rubber on the Alpha ALP3 sink plug is broken, you will need to order a new one. There are no loose rubbers for this.
