Blanco 225210 basket plug

This original 225210 Blanco basket plug is suitable for several Blanco sinks. The Blanco basket plug works as a strainer and prevents food residue from entering the sink. By pushing the plug down, you completely close off the drain of the Blanco sink, thus acting as a stopper. This allows you to use the sink for dishwashing by hand. The Blanco basket strainer is made of chrome-plated brass and therefore will not rust. The basket strainer is round and shiny chrome in color. This Blanco basket strainer plug comes with a steel pin, sealing rubber and plastic ring. There is a black rubber ring around a steel ring with this basket plug.

If the basket plug sinks into the sink and thus no longer stays up, you will need a new basket plug. The ball will probably have fallen out of the pin.

Blanco basket strainer sink plug can be cleaned by putting it in the dishwasher to get all the dirt residue off the basket strainer. For the stubborn tea stains, you can use a soapy solution such as; non-aggressive detergents, dish soap and all-purpose cleaner are a great alternative. Use an abrasive sponge (not a pan sponge!) for this purpose. With this you can clean the plug well and get rid of grease and caked-on residue. After this, use a microfiber cloth to polish the basket nicely. If the basket plug rubber of the sink plug is broken, you cannot order a new one for it. Then a new basket plug is required.
